WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — The Wrightstown County Store off Route 413 will still go by the same name when it reopens in 2021 under new management.

Known for its breakfast sandwiches and cheap coffee, the popular stop off at the corner of Penns Park Road and Route 413 in Wrightstown closed in January 2020 after decades in business. Tom and Bobbie Pringle put the property up for sale last year with an initial asking price of $599,000.

Eric Kretschman, who runs Hidden Valley Farm in Jamison, purchased the property in January for $485,000. The businessman and farmer plans to renovate the building, upgrade the kitchen and expand the space while keeping the same familiar name.

"We're going to hopefully keep a lot of the things people loved but in a new and fresh environment," the Montgomery County native told Patch.

Kretschman plans on selling products in the store from his farm, including livestock and produce, while also sourcing from vendors in Bucks County and the Philadelphia region. He plans to open the store in late July.
