Young Artists Raise $1,000.00 for The Bucks County SPCA
"For Pets' Sake" art exhibit and note card sale featured pet portraits by local art students.

Several aspiring young artists from Bucks County PA and their instructor have not seen each other since March, yet together with the help of Countryside Framing and Gallery in Newtown they were able to raise $1,000.00 for The Bucks County SPCA. The art students had completed pet portraits right before the Covid shut down and waited patiently for it to be possible to display their masterpieces. Finally in September, Countryside Gallery was able to hang the paintings in an exhibit titled "For Pets' Sake", and each day displayed one of the paintings in their front window to be viewed from outside. Note cards were sold featuring the students paintings as a fundraiser for the SPCA. "For Pets' Sake" will be on exhibit again at Doylestown's Artwalk from December through February. Nice work everyone!
