Norristown, PA -- What should fill the old location of Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic High School in Norristown?

Numerous proposals have surfaced over the years, ever since the abandoned high school closed in 2010.

Kennedy-Kenrick opened in 1993 as a part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, but closed when it merged with another school to form Pope John Paul II.

The Times Herald has recently reported that aHavertown development company had proposed several development options for the property, including a senior center, community center, townhomes, and more.

Borough council is considering the proposal.
