CCAC President Position Up for Grabs

Applications for the position will be accepted through September 13.

The Community College of Allegheny (CCAC) is searching for a new president.

Though his coworkers regretted to see him go, previous president Alex Johnson left his position in May to pursue a job as president for a community college in Cleveland and to be closer to his children and grandchildren, the Post Gazette reported.

Michael T. Murphy, who has worked various positions with several colleges, is acting as interim president for the time being until a new president is selected.

According to the CCAC webpage, the suggested deadline for applicants is September 13, though they will accept applications until the position is filled.
