Coronavirus Concerns Close Another North Hills Restaurant

The restaurant is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus outbreak.

McCANDLESS, PA — The North Park Lounge on Babcock Boulevard is the latest Pittsburgh-area restaurant to temporarily shut down because an employee contracted coronavirus.

"Since the health, safety and well-being for both our customers and our staff is our number one goal, we are temporarily closing our McCandless location," owner Mark Baranowski announced on Facebook. "Once we feel 100 percent certain that our environment is safe, we will open back up."

Baranowski said the last day the employee worked at the restaurant was June 20.
