North Allegheny Announces Latest Distinguished Alumni Class
The nine individuals will be honored at a gala in January.

McCANDLESS, PA - The North Allegheny Foundation has announced the nine North Allegheny graduates who will be honored as distinguished alumni in January. The award recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions to society and outstanding professional accomplishments.
The second annual Distinguished Alumni Gala will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Warrendale. Tickets are on sale now.

- Arts: Jeff Sewald, ‘79, writer and filmmaker.
- Business: Yie-Hsin Hung, ‘80, CEO, New York Life Investment Management LLC.
- Community Service: Larry Richert, ‘76, journalist.
- Education: Gregg Behr, ‘91, executive director, The Grable Foundation.
- Government: Gloria Flora, ‘73, founder and director, Sustainable Obtainable Solutions.
- Law: Jerome (Jerry) Richey, ‘67, senior vice chancellor and chief legal officer, retired,
University of Pittsburgh.
- Medicine: William Kearns, Ph.D., ‘70, co-founder, president and chief scientific officer,
AdvaGenix.
