North Allegheny High School Closed Due To Power Outage

McCANDLESS, PA - Tuesday's storms knocked out power at North Allegheny High School, so all high school students need to report to North Allegheny Intermediate.

According to the district website, there is no timetable as to when power will be restored at the high school. If it occurs during the school day, students will be bused back to the high school.

High school students who purchase lunch will be able to do so at North Allegheny Intermediate.

By having high school students report to the intermediate school, North Allegheny can avoid extending the school year and using a weather make-up day next week.
