North Allegheny Homecoming Festivities Scheduled

McCANDLESS TOWNSHIP, PA - It’s a big weekend of homecoming activities in the North Allegheny School District. Here’s the schedule of events:

• Oct. 5, 3:30-6:30: Pre-parade activities

Four food trucks will be at the high school campus for students and community members, and NA Tiger Thon members will sell cupcakes.

• Oct. 5, 5:45 p.m.: Parade with floats and Homecoming Court candidates

The parade theme is “Midnight in Paris” and will feature approximately a dozen student-organized floats and Homecoming Court candidates. The parade will loop twice around the campus and each float and court candidate will be announced when passing the front of the school.

• Oct. 5, 7:30 p.m.: Homecoming football game, North Allegheny vs. Butler

Halftime will include a performance by the NA Marching Band and the crowning of Homecoming King and Queen.

• Oct. 6: Homecoming dances at the intermediate and senior high schools.
