Route 19 To Close In Both Directions For Turnpike Project

MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, PA —A project on the Pennsylvania Turnpike will close Route 19 in Marshall Township in both directions between Thorn Hill Road and Northgate Drive next weekend.
The closure will begin at 8 p.m. on Oct. 16 and extending through 5 a.m. on Oct. 19.
The closure is necessary to allow crews from Trumbull Corporation to set steel bridge beams on the Turnpike above Route 19 between Thorn Hill Road and Warrendale Bayne Road.
Northbound traffic is advised to use Warrendale Bayne Road to Interstate 79 south to Route 910 to Interstate 79 North to Route 228 to Route 19. Southbound traffic should take Route 19 to Route 228 to Interstate 79 south to Route 910 to Interstate 79 north to Warrendale Bayne Road.
