A speech built from incredible experience including training in his native South Africa,13 years with the San Francisco Opera followed by Artistic Administration of the Los Angeles Opera with Placido Domingo and Peter Hemmings. His Pittsburgh Opera positions have been Artistic Director (2000-8) and General Director (2008to present).
