Woman Stabbed to Death Inside Richland Township Home

Allegheny County homicide detectives and Northern Regional police are investigating a stabbing inside a home in the 3900 block of Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) in Richland Township Tuesday morning.

Multiple media outlets are reporting the woman died, but police have not issued a statement yet. 

Neighbors said an ambulance was seen leaving the home earlier this morning and a bystander said a young man was taken away in handcuffs later. 

Yellow police tape is across the driveway of the home and multiple police units are on the property.

A Richland EMS ambulance pulled up to the front of the home about 11:15 a.m..

Media is waiting for a statement for Northern Regional Police Chief T. Robert Amann.
