Carter's Closing About 200 Stores
The children's clothing retailer announced it will close about 25 percent of its locations.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Children's clothing retailer Carter's has announced it will close about 200 stores in the coming months.
Store officials made the announcement in a discussion with analysts, Retail Dive reported.
The impending closures "are generally older, lower-margin stores in declining centers and less likely to support our focus on high-value, omni-channel customers," CEO Michael Casey said in the conversation.
