Church Deacon Allegedly Attempted To Kiss Underage Girl
The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh confirmed it investigated the accusation.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A deacon accused of attempting to kiss an underage girl in 2016 was placed on administrative leave and investigated by the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. The deacon was John C. Miller, who was working at St. Teresa of Avila in Ross, WPXI-TV reported.
The diocese told the station that it notified law enforcement about the accusation, and that the diocese's initial investigation determined that Miller violated the Bishop's Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The case has been forwarded to the Vatican.
Miller is prohibited from engaging in public ministry or identifying himself as a deacon while the Vatican determines his status as a clergy member.
