ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert the Oriental Market on McKnight Road.

A inspection Thursday revealed eight crates of sliced fish sitting directly outdoors under no protection in the parking lot. Flies were observed on the fish carcasses. When the inspector requested all fish be discarded, the operator placed only a portion of fish in the dumpster and concealed rest of the fish from inspectors in the walk-in cooler.

The inspection report noted that this was a repeat violation.
