Coronavirus Concerns Temporarily Close Ross Restaurant

An employee at the eatery tested positive for COVID-19.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Wheelfish restaurant on Sangree Road has temporarily shut down after an employee last week tested positive for the coronavirus. The restaurant announced the closure on Facebook.

"We immediately contacted the Allegheny County Health Department and confirmed that our customers were not at risk, as there was no interaction between customers and the team member," the post stated.

The employee is feeling fine.

All Wheelfish employees are being tested. While all of the workers are feeling fine, the restaurant stated that "we are voluntarily pausing service to determine the most responsible path forward and taking measures to ensure our environment is safe."
