1.) Learn and practice a new language with the Mango program for free as a Northland Library user. Courses include Arabic, Chinese, Greek and more. Mango also offers english as a second language courses and a translation tool.

2.) Take a course in mantra meditation with a guru and bust stress and aggravation away. Shyam Das will teach students at the library how to meditate and provide tips to continue at home for a healthier life. The class is at 7 p.m. Monday Aug. 19. Register online or call the adult services section of the library at 412-366-8100, extension 113.

3.) Learn how to take, transfer, share and print digital photos with a lecture offered by the library. Greg Dottle of Premier Imaging will teach the class basics of digital photography at 7 pm Aug. 22. Class requires registration.

4.) Like board games, knitting or astronomy? The Northland Library has a club for you. Tabletop gamers will gather at noon on Saturday Aug. 17 for the North Hills Board Game Meet-up.
