Funeral Arrangements Set For Carlow Fall Victim

WEST VIEW, PA - Funeral arrangements have been made for Dalton Bacco, the Carlow University freshman who died Wednesday after falling from the balcony of a university building.

Visitation will occur Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Soxman Funeral Home, 7450 Saltsburg Road in Penn Hills. A service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1719 Mt. Royal Boulevard in Shaler. Interment will follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery.

Police still are investigating how Bacco, 19, of West View, fell five stories from a balcony at the top of Carlow’s University Commons Building. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to release his official cause of death.
