Howard D. Heckler, 86, of Ross, died March 24, 2012.
He was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Pittsburgh and is the son of the late William and Emma (Waechter) Heckler.
He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Vera (Armour) Heckler, father of Debra L. (Ronald) Meinert, grandfather of Jessica (Ryan Miller) Meinert and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Monday at the 388 Center Avenue, West View. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in . Please meet at the church.
