Kids Hooked on Ross Township Fishing Tournament

70 young anglers were on hand for the first day of the  Saturday at Frank Zotter Pond in Evergreen Community Park, 3430 Evergreen Road.

The tournament is run by township Commissioner Lana Mazur, as well as the Ross Township Police Department, with special recognition going to retired police Sgt. Frank Zotter, for whom the pond is named. 

Here's the rundown of Saturday's winners for children ages 14 and younger.

Division A

1st place: Enrico Furguiele

2nd place: MacKenzie Roskwitalski

3rd place: Emma Ehan

lunker (the biggest fish): Paige Murrauy

Division B

1st place: Allyson Bauer

2nd place: Tyler Ruckel

3rd place: Evan Relac

lunker (the biggest fish): Evan Relac

Division C

1st place: Miguel Jackson

2nd place: Tyler Czoper

3rd place: Collin Quinn

lunker (the biggest fish): Sydney Riddle

Division D

1st place: Jessica Bauer

2nd place: Angela White

3rd place: Justin Avan
