Man Arrested In Ross After High-Speed Police Chase
A police officer was slightly injured in the incident.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A North Versailles man faces multiple charges following a police chase and an incident that slightly injured a police officer.
According to Ross police, Kasey Gusty, 36, was stopped by Franklin Park police at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday near I-79 South because police suspected he was driving while on a DUI license suspension. Gusty was uncooperative with police officers and took off in his vehicle, injuring an officer who was thrown from the side of the vehicle.
When Franklin Park officers called in the incident over police radio, Ross police responded and found the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. After losing sight of the vehicle, they discovered the abandoned car a short time late on John Street.

A Ross police K9 soon located Gusty hiding behind a house in the 500 block of John Street. According to police, he was carrying 58 stamp bags of heroin.
Gusty is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
