Memorial Service Scheduled For Longtime Ross Resident Jean Devlin
She passed away recently at the age of 93.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A memorial service will be held Oct. 7 for longtime Ross resident Jean Wahl Devlin, 93, who died on Sept. 11. The service and burial will occur at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Redeemer North Side Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Devlin was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Devlin in 1999, brother Leo Wahl, sister Helen Nolan. She is survived by her twin sister, Marguerite Mercer of Mars, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of Robert (Ardeth), Connie (Gary Pelkey), Tom (Regina), Dennis (Ann) and eleven grandchildren.
Mrs. Devlin was a 1947 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and volunteered
as a nurse at St. Sebastian School (now Holy Cross Academy) and The Vincentian Home.

Jean and Bob Devlin were long-time residents of North Hills, St. Sebastian Church, Berkeley Hills Fire Company, and Wildwood Golf Club. They enjoyed many winters golfing in Marco Island, Florida.
