More Ivory Avenue Work To Try North Hills Motorists' Patience
The second phase of the avenue's reconstruction begins next week.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The reconstruction of Ivory Avenue between Perrysville Road and Nelson Run Road near Ross is complete and the road will open Tuesday at 3 p.m. But more headaches await for North Hills motorists as the project’s second phase gets under way next week.
Beginning Monday, work begins on Ivory between Nelson Run Road and Evergreen Road. The work will take about 45 days to complete, detouring traffic onto Nelson Run Road, McKnight Road, Babcock Boulevard and Peoples Road/Evergreen Road.
The project is part of Allegheny County’s $8.3 million 2017 Capital Roads Reconstruction Project addressing eight roads throughout the county.
