More Parkway North Road Restrictions This Weekend
Some of the work will occur continuously from Friday night until Monday morning.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - If it’s the weekend, it must be time for another round of lane restrictions on and around the Parkway North (I-279) as PennDOT continues its $88 million parkway improvement project.
Here’s what you can expect this weekend:
- A single-lane restriction will occur on southbound I-279 from the Ohio River Boulevard North 65 (Exit 1C) interchange to approximately 1,000 feet onto the Fort Duquesne Bridge. Crews will conduct tooth dam painting from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday.
- Southbound I-279 will be reduced to a single-lane in the three-lane section between the Venture Street and Veterans Bridge interchanges from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday for permanent pavement marking installation.
- Single-lane restrictions in each direction will occur on Camp Horne Road (Route 4021) from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday between Ben Avon Heights Road and Mt. Nebo Road for roadway repairs.
