North Hills Football 2017: Indians Look To Build On Success
But the Indians face a difficult 2017 football schedule.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Even with a daunting schedule, the North Hills High School Indians hope to continue the progress they made on the football field in 2016.
Coach Pat Carey enters his fifth season coming off a 7-5 overall record and 6-3 conference record. Despite a disappointing 41-21 loss to West Allegheny in the WPIAL playoffs, the season represented a marked improvement over the Indians’ 3-7 record in 2015, the team’s first losing season since 2011.
The Indians play in the rugged Allegheny Nine Conference in Class 5A, along with Woodland Hills, West Allegheny, Upper St. Clair, Baldwin-Whitehall, Fox Chapel, Moon, Hampton and Chartiers Valley. West Allegheny won the WPIAL Class 5A championship last year with a 38-37 win over McKeesport.

The Indians face a daunting schedule this season, with only four home regular season games. They play five of their first seven games on the road, including a visit to defending champs West Allegheny.
