North Hills High School Staffer Contracts Coronavirus

The high school employee has been diagnosed with COVID-19, the district announced.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A North Hills High School employee has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member works the evening shift at the high school and has very minimal daily contact with students, teachers and other daytime staff members, the district stated in a release Wednesday.

This staff member has not been in the building sinceOct. 14.

No further action by the district is necessary.

Positive cases are no longer active after a 10-day isolation period per guidance from the Center for Disease Control.

Including Wednesday's case, the district has had seven COVID-19 cases. This latest case and last week’s case remain the two active cases in the district.
