ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A North Hills High School student has tested positive for the coronavirus, the district announced on Wednesday. The student has not been in school or involved in any district activities since last Tuesday, Oct. 20.

The student developed symptoms this past weekend, was tested and received the positive result Wednesday.

Due to the timeline of when the student was last in school and when symptoms began, no further action by the district is necessary. The Allegheny County Health Department will handle contact tracing.
