North Hills High School Teacher Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The teacher was in the building for three days this week, according to the school district.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A North Hills High School teacher has tested positive for COVID-19. The teacher received the positive result from a rapid test on Thursday.
The teacher was in the building this week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday before symptoms began on Thursday.
North Hills High School has contacted all students and staff members who were in close contact with the teacher on Tuesday and today, and they will receive official quarantine notices from the Allegheny County Health Department.

Today’s case brings the total number of active cases at the high school to four, but because none of the cases are related. The Allegheny County Health Department does not define this as an outbreak and no additional action by the district is necessary. At this time, the high school does not have to move to virtual since the cases were not associated with each other.
