North Hills Hockey Games Draw Alumni, Raise Money for Program

Hockey players from the North Hills class of 1975 and on came to reunite and skate with the current North Hills Hockey Club.

The North Hills Hockey Club alumni games Sunday, May 6 at the RMU Island Sports Center drew almost 70 North Hills Hockey Club alumni.

Reuniting former players from the class of 1975 to this year’s graduating class of 2012 was a sight to be seen as former teammates and families were able to reconnect and share stories of the past.

The game, which is in its third year, aims to raise awareness and money to support the rapidly growing Skills Development Program. Last year, with the support of this game, the North Hills Hockey Club’s Skills Development Program tripled from 12 to 37 skaters.
