North Hills School Board: Nine Candidates Vie For Five Seats

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Four incumbents are among nine candidates seeking five seats on the North Hills School Board in the Nov. 5 election. Here's a look at who's running:

  • Board president Ed Wilegus (R): Has served on the school board since 1997 and as president numerous times throughout his tenure.
  • Board vice president Helen Dee Spade (D): Has been a school director since 2015 and is serving her first full term as vice-president.
  • Incumbent Lou Nudi (R): Has served three terms on the board. Semi-retired professionally.
  • Incumbent Tom Kelly (R): Retired professionally.
  • Katie Poniatowski (D/R).
  • Phil Little (D): Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General specialist professional.
  • Joe Muha (R): Metallurgical engineer professional. Previously served on the board from 2013-17.
