North Hills School District To Hold COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

The district is teaming with Giant Eagle to vaccinate students who are 16 or older.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — North Hills School District is teaming with Giant Eagle to hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students aged 16 or older. The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at North Hills High School on May 11, with the second dose occurring on June 1.

Parents or guardians of current district students interested in receiving the vaccine need to complete this pre-registration form by April 30 at 12 p.m. A minimum of 60 students are needed for the clinic event to occur.

Emails will be sent next week to those who pre-registered with a link to sign up for an appointment time. The email will also include a form that must be printed, completed and returned to the high school health office by May 7.

What you need to know:

  • Students must be age 16 or older by May 11 to qualify.
  • The clinic is voluntary without any recommendation, direction or coercion from anyone at the district.
  • The clinic will be facilitated by Giant Eagle and its pharmacists.
  • The district is not liable for any injury, loss or damage that may occur following vaccination.
  • Those scheduled for an appointment should not report if they or someone in their household is exhibiting any sign or symptom of COVID-19, or if they were identified as a close contact of someone diagnosed with the virus.
