North Hills School District Reports New Coronavirus Cases

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA —The North Hills School District recorded 12 new building COVID-19 cases between Jan. 14 and Jan. 24.

The cases were added to the COVID-19 tracker as follows:

  • North Hills Middle School student on Jan. 14.
  • North Hills High School student on Jan. 17.
  • Ross Elementary School staff member on Jan. 18.
  • North Hills High School student on Jan. 18.
  • North Hills Middle School student on Jan. 18.
  • McIntyre Elementary School staff member on Jan. 19.
  • Ross Elementary School student on Jan. 19.
  • North Hills High School student on Jan. 19.
  • North Hills High School student on Jan. 21.
  • 2 West View Elementary School students on Jan. 23 (both presumed).
  • North Hills High School teacher on Jan. 24.

Additionally, five student cases were recorded in the new “virtual students” case count on the COVID-19 tracker. These are district students who have not been in school in-person and thus do not count toward their building’s total.

The virtual student cases were added on Jan. 11, Jan. 13, Jan. 19 and Jan. 21. There were two virtual students who received a presumptive positive diagnosis on Jan. 13.
