Transportation will be provided. Students should report to their assigned bus stop at their designated time or arrive at school prior to the normal start time of 7:20 a.m. Student's school bus information including bus number, pick up, and drop off times is now available in PowerSchool.

Boxed lunches will be available for each in-person school day for students to purchase. Students will pre-order from their homeroom in the morning. They will be able to select one entree: turkey and cheese on a kaiser roll, peanut butter and jelly and string cheese, or a protein power pack with tortilla chips/salsa, string cheese and sunflower seeds. Meals will also include fruit, veggie, juice and milk.

When students get to the cafeteria at lunchtime, the meals will be prepacked, color-coded and ready for pick up. Since students are preordering, they will not need to stop at the cashier’s station or use the PIN pad. There will be no money exchanged and no a la carte items for sale. All students will eat in the cafeteria seated six feet from other students. Continue reading for information about the grab-and-go meal program beginning Tuesday.

Beattie students who arrive on district transportation will report to the library for periods 1-4. Beattie students who can provide their own transportation are permitted to arrive at 10:15 a.m. and report directly to their 5th period class. In-person Beattie classes for North Hills students will not begin until Aug. 31.

Face masks will be required at all times for students and for staff while in school and on district transportation. Students will only be permitted to remove their mask when given permission to do so when eating or drinking and six feet from another person, and during physical activity when a six-feet distance can be maintained between other students.

If a student needs prescription medication on their in-person day, please send only the amount needed in the original prescription bottle with a signed physician medication order. Please contact school nurse Jennifer Siegle at sieglej@nhsd.net with questions.
