North Hills Student Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The district announced Tuesday that a student has tested positive for COVID-19.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A member of the North Hills Middle School girls volleyball team has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The student was tested over the weekend and received her positive result on Tuesday, the North Hills School District said in a release.
The student last attended volleyball practice at the middle school on Sept. 11.

There are two girls volleyball teams at the middle school made up of seventh- and eighth-graders. Both teams practiced on Friday.
The middle school girls volleyball program is shut down until further notice with the hope of resuming activities on Sept. 28. This closure does not impact the high school’s junior varsity or varsity girls volleyball teams.

All contract tracing will be handled by the Allegheny County Health Department.
