North Hills Thon Rasies Record Amount
Despite the pandemic, this year's NHThon raised an all-time record.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Despite the coronavirus outbreak, this year's NHThon on Saturday raised $16,529 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. That's the most money raised in the event's history.
The community portion of the Thon took place at Martorelli Stadium and featured carnival games, basket raffles, inflatables, food and a dunk tank. The evening portion at the high school for students only included dancing, games, sports and food.
