North Hills Varsity Girls Softball Starts Season in Updated Digs
Work continues on the McIntyre Field press box and concession stand, but the field is playable.
Construction crews are taking advantage of the warm weather to complete the renovations at the McIntyre softball field, which is home to the North Hills Varsity Girls Softball team.Â
New dugouts were completed in time for Monday's game between North Hills and Penn Hills. Work on the new press box should be finished in the next couple of weeks, said School Director Lou Nudi, who is chairman of the facilities committee.Â
The school board approved the renovations last fall at a cost of $180,000.Â
