Parkway North HOV Inbound Hours Extended On Friday
The move should make it easier for motorists to get to the Pirates home opener.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - To accommodate North Hills motorists going to the Pirates home opener on Friday, PennDOT is extending the inbound hours of the Parkway North (I-279) HOV lanes.
The following schedule will be observed:
HOV lanes will be open inbound from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The HOV lanes will close to all traffic from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The HOV lanes will be open outbound from 3 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Monday.

The Pirates will play the Atlanta Braves at PNC Park. The first pitch will occur at 1:05 p.m. A sellout crowd is expected.
