Parkway North HOV Lane Ramp Reopening
It's about to get easier to navigate the parkway, PennDOT says.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The I-279 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane ramp to Perrysville Avenue in Ross is reopening Monday, PennDOT announced. The Ross park and ride also will reopen.
Beginning at approximately 3 p.m. Monday afternoon the HOV ramp to Perrysville Avenue and the Ross Park and Ride will reopen to traffic and normal operations will occur.

Inbound
- Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Two or more passengers required.
Outbound

- Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Two or more passengers required.
- Monday through Friday 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Unrestricted use.
- Friday 7 p.m. through Monday 4 a.m. Unrestricted use.
Minor improvement work will continue on the HOV lanes requiring overnight closures on non-event evenings. Details will be provided as closures are scheduled.
HOV improvements included concrete patching, asphalt overlay, new gates, updated signage, upgraded control system, and a wrong-way detection system.
