ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The third year of the Parkway North improvement project ramps up April 2 when PennDOT will close the HOV lanes for more than two months.

The lanes are closing so crews can perform concrete patching, inlet modifications, paving operations and install an anti-icing system, strip seal expansion dams, rebuild curbs and islands, install fast acting gates, install new lane control system overhead signs, make ITS improvements and install pavement marking.

The work is expected to be completed in mid-June. IUt's one of the final phases of the $88 million Parkway North rehabilitation effort that began in 2017.
