Peoples Road To Be Reduced To Single Lane For Flood Repairs
Find out here how long the traffic restriction will be in place.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Peoples Road will be reduced to a single lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal at the intersection with Babcock Boulevard starting April 29 until early July, PennDOT announced. The restriction is necessary to complete a $2..7 million project to repair damage from flooding last July.
Crews will start excavating and replacing the existing culvert under the sidewalk of Peoples and Babcock, and roadway restoration will occur on the spur from Peoples to eastbound Babcock.
The existing truck detour will be in effect for the project's duration.
