Pittsburgh's KSWA Honored For Longevity In Pro Wrestling
The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) has been entertaining wrestling fans for more than 16 years.
On September 10, U.S. Senator Pat Toomey awarded Pittsburgh's Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) with a certificate, recognizing the professional wrestling group for its success in Pittsburgh.
The KSWA has now been recognized by Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto, Allegheny County Council, Governor Tom Wolf, and now the United States Senate, for providing wrestling fun and entertainment to Pittsburgh and beyond since the year 2000.
Earlier this year, the KSWA celebrated its 200th event and commemorated the event with a souvenir cup. More than 300 fans attended the event.

The organization has an event scheduled each weekend in September, including two in Millvale, one in New Kensington, another in Sewickley for FamCom, as well as Pittsburgh for a St. Raphael's fundraiser. The group returns to Sharpsburg for the annual Mario Ferraro Sr. Memorial Tournament at the Volunteer Fire Department on November 12.
This all leads up to FanFest/Toy Drive at the Teamster Temple in Lawrenceville on Saturday, December 3. There, the KSWA will raise toys for the Allegheny County "Holiday Project" and pack the house with wrestling legends Bill Apter, Demolition and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.
