Public is Invited to Hear Sixth Grade Band Concert May 23

The sixth grade advanced band students from the will perform a free concert at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the . 

Under the direction of Jeffrey Lucas and Jessica Webster, the band will travel to the community center as part of the annual Sixth Grade Band Tour, which also includes concerts in all four of the district’s elementary schools.  

In addition to the community center concert, the band will perform at and elementary school the same day. Thursday includes performances at and  schools.

This group of over 90 energetic young musicians invites you to attend their 40-minute program, which is open to the public and will entertain audiences of all ages.
