Ross Anglers To Compete In Fishing Tournament
The 23rd annual event will be held at Evergreen Park.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - It's almost time for the 23rd annual Ross Township Fishing Tournament in Evergreen Park. The free event, which comes with refreshments, a picnic lunch, bait, prizes, trophies and more, will occur July 13 and 14.
All contestants may only bring one fishing pole and their tackle. Please bring a chair if you think you'll need one as seating is limited. Family members are welcome to attend and anglers 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Accommodations for special needs anglers and spectators will be available upon request.

- Ages 6-8: July 13.
- Ages 9-11: July 13
- Ages 12-14: July 13.
- Ages 15-17: July 14.
- Ages 18-59: July 14.
- Seniors (age 60+): July 14.
- Special needs individuals (all ages): July 14.
You can register online for the tournament through July 8. Check-in for the tournament is at 8:30 a.m. on both days with the fishing beginning at 9 a.m.
The event is sponsored by the township police, the parks and recreation department and many volunteers.
