Ross Closes All Municipal Parks Due To Coronavirus
People were not practicing social distancing in the parks, a township official said.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - All township parks have been temporarily closed because of the coronavirus. Township commissioners ordered the shutdown on Tuesday.
“We’ve closed them indefinitely,” commission chairman Steve Korbel said in a post on the township police department Facebook page. “We had a lot of examples of folks congregating
in our parks over the weekend and not necessarily adhering to social distancing. We’re taking all the steps we can to help bend or flatten the curve here in Ross Township.”
