Ross Commissioners approve 2012 Road Paving List

Ross Township's Board of Commissioners approved its 2012 preliminary road paving list Monday. 

Bidding on the work will open May 7, said Township Engineer Art Gazdik. 

Roads might be added or removed from the list, depending on the bids received. The township has budgeted $500,000 for road paving this year, with another $100,000 to be added to the line item if 2011 revenues provided enough surplus. 

The list includes 2.2 miles of roadway: 

* Goldsmith Road from Miller to the south end

* Callender Road from Goldsmith to the end

* White Oak Drive from Edgewood to the end 

* Second Avenue from First Street to Second Street

* Schars Lane from Willow to Jefferson

* Vassar Avenue from Kenyon to the end 

* Harvard Avenue from Kenyon to the end 

* Lindley Lane from Link to Hillendale

* Lindley Lane from Titan to Link

* Standford Avenue from Kenyon to Division

* Varney Street from Simplon to Chestnut

* North Euclid Avenue from Maple to Clarion

* Simplon Street from Maple to East Forest

* Rosecrest Drive from Old Perry Highway to the end

* Old Perrsville Road from Perry Highway to Center Avenue

* Old Perrysville Road from Perry past Rosecrest to Perry Highway

* Hillcrest Drive from Babcock Boulevard to Evergreen Road

* Marmion Drive from Sunderland to the township line.
