Ross Could Get Allegheny County Coronavirus Vaccination Clinic
Township commissioners have approved an agreement with the county for a potential COVID-19 vaccination site in Ross.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Allegheny County's third coronavirus vaccination clinic could be located in the North Hills. Township commissioners on Monday approved an agreement with Allegheny County for the township community center gym to be used as a potential inoculation site.
The county has not made a final decision as to where the next clinic could open. Two sites already are in use: the DoubleTree Hotel in Monroeville and the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department banquet hall.
According to the township website, the program is tentatively scheduled to start on March 1, although that date could change depending on vaccine supplies. County officials have not verified that date.
