Ross Gets Solar-Powered Speed Limit Signs

Three of the signs are going up in the township.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The township has purchased three new solar-powered speed limit signs in hopes of inspiring drivers to be more aware of how fast they are traveling.

The first sign can be found on Rochester Road, WPXI-TV reported. Another one will be stationed at an as-yet undetermined location. The third will be a mobile one that can be moved to problem speeding areas throughout the township.

Ross spent $7,500 on the signs, according to WPXI.
