Ross Park Mall Shooting: Probe Continues

A frightening moment occurred Saturday when gunfire erupted at one of the Pittsburgh areas's most popular shopping locations.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Township police are still investigating a Saturday shooting at Ross Park Mall that left shoppers scrambling for cover. Two teens were taken into custody, but neither has been charged with any crimes as of Tuesday morning.

At least five or six people were involved in a fight before the shooting broke out, police said shortly after the incident according to multiple reports. Three guns were recovered at the scene.

One of the Pittsburgh region's most popular shopping locations, the mall has several high-end retailers such as Nordtrom and Tiffany & Co.
