Ross Police Warn Of Possible Scammers

Police are asking people to be on the lookout for the possible scammers.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Ross police have received multiple reports this week about people knocking on doors and asking to see the homeowner’s utility bills while attempting to enter the residence.

While police are unsure if the people approaching homeowners are scammers or from legitimate energy companies, the department noted on Facebook that there currently no active solicitation permits in the township that would permit this activity.

Police are asking anyone seeing people going door-to-door or who has someone come to their home asking to see utility bills to call 911 immediately.
