Ross: Thompson Run Road To Reopen Friday

A portion of the road has been closed since August because of a landslide.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - After being closed for nearly two months,Thompson Run Road will reopen at 6 p.m. Friday, according to Allegheny County’s Department of Public Works. The road has been closed since August 28 to repair a landslide between West Sutter Road and White Oak Drive.

The project, which also includes, paving, drainage, and safety improvements from Vilsack Road to McIntyre Road will continue through early December. This work will be done under flagging and short term stoppages of traffic. The $2.2 million project is being partially funded by the Federal Highway Administration.
