ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A large police presence and SWAT team have converged on Jacks Run Road, Tuesday. A strong smell of natural gas was coming from a home, and police had difficulty making contact with someone believed to be inside.
Neighboring homes were evacuated and officers broke the home's windows to ventilate the gas. A man emerged after about four hours and is not expected to face criminal charges, according to police.
Even MORE crews are here now. We’ve learned police believe a man is inside. Apparently there was a domestic situation last night & cops were called for a welfare check this AM... that’s when they smelled gas. More details & what neighbors are saying live at noon @wpxi pic.twitter.com/pscf56fwlv
